Project TOPSQUAD (Topologically Protected and Scalable Quantum Bits) started with a kick-off meeting at the University of Twente Tursday and Friday 13th and 14th of Febr. 2020.

The project aims to engineer qubits into the standard IC material Silicon and protecting them from environmental noise with “topological” protection inherted by coupling the material to a superconductor. Further information can be found here.
